Carl Griffith, Realtor®

Carl Griffith is from Athens, Georgia and grew up in the town called Normal Town, Georgia.  Carl met his wife Cecile while attending the University of Georgia.  He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946-1948 and again 1950-1952.  Cecile introduced Carl to her home town, Savannah in 1954. Carl was hired on by tug boat company, Atlantic Towing Company where he climbed the ladder from deckhand to captain. After time he was promoted to the Docking Pilot with Coastal Pilots. He is a member of the American Legion of Tybee Island, Georgia and the Lions Club on Wilmington Island, Georgia.  Carl’s name is on the monument at the U.S. Point of origin on Tybee which is also dubbed the Korean Memorial Highway which stretches from Tybee Island, Georgia all the way to San Diego, California.  Carl is a fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, a member of the Fenian Society and is on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.  Carl is also a member of St. Peter The Apostle’s Catholic Church on Wilmington Island, Georgia. After his many years in the maritime industry Carl is now ashore and ready to assist you in your Real Estate needs.
